Tree of Life    

The tree grows high over tall skyscrapers

But you’ll never read about it in the newspapers

Its limbs reach wide over all creation

Its fluttering leaves are for the healing of the nations

They glow real bright with the unearthly light

Of everything pure and everything right

They just float upon the breeze like a holy kite

Shining in the sky where there is no night

So shine, oh shine, I’m gonna climb

Way up in His highest limbs

We get to dance, on every branch

When we lift our soul to Him

Oh my, it never dies,

God’s light can never dim

I’m glad you’re around, to hear that sound

The holy tree is singing hymns

From the highest twig down to the lowest root

The Tree of Life is bearing beautiful fruit

It’s God’s great delight, I know there ain’t no other reason

The tree of life is never out of season

Little or big, I don’t care what size

Ain’t no way around it baby wisdom is wise

All her paths are peace, more precious than gold

Some come on to the Tree let it be peace unto your soul

There is no axe so sharp

There is no knife so broad              

There is no weapon formed

That could pose a threat to (the light of) the tree of God
